Excellent quote by Rick. He let them know that this wasn't a narrow Christian view - it's a worldwide view.

In one of my anthropology classes in state college, we learned that EVERY society has laws against: murder, theft, adultery, and homosexuality. No matter how primitive the culture, these four are always present.

Oh yeah - they also all WORSHIP someone or something.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department will have personnel present to ensure everything goes smoothly, said Lt. Don Barnes, chief of police services for Lake Forest.

"We'd like to work with the event organizers to make sure their rights are protected," Barnes said.

Am I reading this right? The police were there to protect (the rights of the) protesters?

I'm okay with them being there to make sure everything goes smoothly, but to say they're present to protect the rights of the protesters is insulting.
