&lt;p&gt;This was not an issue for the guys that wrote the Constitution - only for those today who are mis-interpreting it.&lt;/p&gt;

Should this be something we do as a means of promoting peace, therefore the military should do it? Or, is it something our military should avoid because it is a religious thing, and therefore becomes a state promoted religion?&lt;/p&gt;
