Her Virtue Sponsorship Program Now Open

Her Virtue is a weekend event dedicated to discipling young girls ages 12-21 into being passionate young women for Jesus. 

 
Her Virtue is a setting in which young girls, ages 12-21, will be taught how they can stay mentally, physically, and spiritually pure as they venture out into this world we live in.
 
 
The peer pressure of these young girls to try drugs, alcohol and sex is now showing up even in our grade schools. First graders bringing guns to school, many being given to drugs and gang activity.
 
Let's ask ourselves?
 
What can "We" do about this?
 
What can "I" do about this?
 
The bible tells us that we should train up our children in the way they should go. It is our responsiblilty to make sure that they have the information they need to make the best decisions in this life.
 
To show them how to lead Godly lives. How to seek God own their own. And how to serve each other in the love that God so desires for each of us to have for one another.
 
 
The things that Her Virtue bring to these young girls are life saving. And every young girl needs access to. So I would like to ask you to consider sponsoring at least one, if not two, of these young ladies.
 
All through out this year we will be collecting the funds in a special "chipin" account and will be sending it to Hannah Sheriff at the Her Virtue Camp in December 2009.

I hope that by doing it this way each of you will have the time to save up, put it in your budgets, or consider sponsoring more than one girl.
 
I'll personally be sponsoring one girl each month.
That is a total of 12 girls that will have the oppurtunity to attend.
How awesome is that!
But what would be TOTALLY awesome...
 
Is the oppurtunity for each of us to work toward helping these young ladies grow in their callings to God, to their church, and to their future husbands.
 
I can only commit so far, but with your help even more young girls can be prepared to stay strong in the Lord.
 
One can put a thousand to flight, but together we can put tens of thousands to flight.
 
This past year - 2009 - 4 young women were sponsored.
My hearts desire is that every young girl that desires to attend will be able to do so without concern.

The cost of each girl to attend the camp is $55.00
(if you can not afford to cover the whole cost,
you may opt to do a portion.)
