The worst love you can have is when someone you've established a spiritual relationship with (i.e, reading the bible together, going to church together, and praying together) walks away and start doing things of the world. I'm in desperate need of your prayers for myself and my friend who has walked away. It is a very hard pill to swallow.
At times I see this as a lesson that God is teaching me about loving his sheep. For although, they might not be doing as they should or how we think they should be handling themselves, God is still in Control. He constantly shows me his relationship with me when I was in the world doing things I should not be doing. As Pastors, ministers, and church leaders we are going to face situations where the sheep is not walking according to the word and its at that critical time where we need to been in prayer more and more fervently for that person(s). They are being tested and pulled by the devil from every which way and if we react negatively towards them we can be the driving force to push them over.
I've just finshed reading the 1st book of John and it deals alot with loving your brethern and loving God. It's easy to love someone when they're doing good but how is our love for them when they're in total rebellion. Not only are they being tested but so are we. How we handle the situation speaks for our character and relationship with God. Therefore i ask for your prayers, that my character and speech would be one that exemplifies a true Child of God; and prayers for her that God would touch her heart and deliver her from the ways of the world.

Thanks for sharing your story. When God's people disappoints us it really hurts. May this relationship you have be reestablished, but until that happens continue to love them.
Yes it hurts to see someone going back to the world after being converted as christians.I am experiencing almost thesame thing here in Ghana.Children and families that we have fed with the word of God and shown love and affection are turning back to their evil ways, just because the church is unable to provide for their imidiate needs at this trial time.
ONLY THE BODY THAT IS FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN OVERCOME TEMPTATIONS!
The children and families in need(i mean the Orphans etc)that the church is catering for are going back to the street doing all sorts of bad things to make ends meet.I have used the word of God to speak to them but they wouldn't stop their deeds because of their needs.I have prayed about this but this is making me feel bad every time and i feel disappointed for not be able to responding to their needs.Children who are under 15 years old are being driven to the street by their parents to look for what they will eat.Asd a result of their deeds they are being beaten mercilessly.Then i ask myself if the church is not helping them ,why are we accommodating them?I could not drive them out of the church because that won't solve the problem and that is against the aim of the church.

Our prayers together shall water the seeds of the word that is planted deep in the soil of her heart. It shall produce good fruit in due season.
