Just joined pastors.com  Made a bad choice for my sign-in name.  Is there a way to change my sign-in nme to a different one?

yes. If you click on "edit" tab on the top of the web page, then select the advanced tab. If you click the enable display name that will change what is displayed on the site.

Thanks, Matt.  I appreciate the quick response.  That was already enabled.  My problem is that when I registered for the web site, I used my email address for a sign-in name, not knowing how it would be used for everything on the site.  I wish I had used my real name like everyone else did.  I see where I can change my password, but not my sign-in name.  Maybe I need to just register all over again with a new sign-in name.

OK, everything's cool now.  I updated my profile again, and this time it fixed things so my real name is displayed instead of my sign-in name.  Now I can seep tonight.  Thanks again Matt.

I followed the suggestions you gave to the other pastor but it doesn't give me the opportunity to change my sign-in name - only my password. Any addtional suggestion?

Whoo Hooo!! I just fixed mine.

I am now known by my actual name, and not "bluemntn." However, for old time's sake, if anyone wants to send me a pound of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, I'll gladly receive it from you. Big Smile

Matt,  When I follow your suggestions, I still do not find any way to change my display name.  Help!

Tell me how you fixed your sign in name.  Unable to get it to work for me.  Thanks

What worked for me was just updating my profile.  When I put in all my personal information into the profile the website started displaying my actual name instead of my sign-in name.  That is what I needed.  I didn't have to actually change my sign-in name.  I just didn't want my sign-in name to be displayed all the time.  Since no one else sees my sign-in name now, I'm good.  Hope that helps you sort out your issue somehow.
